Residential Training
Rainbow Dogs specialise in residential training, which is not carried out in
kennels environment but in a townhouse in Ealing Broadway. This
allows the dog to be trained for the environment in which he lives, a normal
home!
Residential
training in a home allows for the constant supervision of the dog. Training
session can be short and frequent which is the optimum way for a dog to
learn. The dog can have time to relax between training sessions ready for
his next task. The dog has time to play between training sessions to help
keep the training fun. The trainer quickly establishes a strong bond with
the dog so allowing for rapid progress.
The
facilities for the residential training include the three floors of the house
together with a private garden. A large number of parks and other green
spaces are available in the borough of Ealing for training, exercise and play.
Residential training can be used to rapidly teach your dog the ‘basics’ or to
work on specific behaviour problems in a consistent environment.
Your dog gets to learn what is expected of him and as importantly learns how
people communicate with him. Residential training finishes off with a
training session with you, the owner, to handover this knowledge. This
handover is essential!
